I have been associated with this school as a principle for a while and always find this moment touching. It was with honor and great pleasure that I am here to congratulate on your graduation today and bring to you opening remarks to start a new chapter of your life.

For you, graduates, citizens of the future, you may seek a lot of advice to prepare for your future. And I just would like to share with you a real story of someone I really know who is in Greenwich university.

This is the story of mine. And it is just one of thousands of stories to demonstrate “Education can change the world”, but first and foremost education can change your life. Never stop learning even now you think you have completed 4 years of learning at University of Greenwich. Learn from the world outside school, from your future work, from people you will meet and work with…

Thank you for not giving up to be here today as graduates. Thank you for being together to go through the hardest time. I really like the idea “do not waste energy on the things you cannot control”. There are always unexpected things. Not look for ways to avoid them but focus on training yourself to become a bold soldier in order to deal with any obstacles.

Graduates, on behalf of your teachers, parents and classmates, let me say how very proud we are of you. You have reached an important milestone and it has come with a lot of hard work and such determination.

Congratulations, you did it. You actually made it to be here today. Continue learning, continue being hard-working and bold. After this day, be a better and stronger version of yourself.

And welcome you to join the new communities, the Society outside there and right now, you are alumi of University of Greenwich. Wish you luck and success on your journey.
